Dielectric joint DN32

GD324.04
Dielectric joint DN32 MxF PN10
The insulating dielectric joints for PN10 users are installed in low pressure systems (10 Kg / cm2) for the supply of gas / water to domestic users. Their function is to ensure the electrical separation between the underground part of the pipe and the above-ground one in order to protect the part of the pipe downstream of the joint from any stray currents that could damage the pipe, promoting corrosion. The benefits of using the insulating joint are the reduction of maintenance costs and the guarantee of greater safety and efficiency of the system. In the type MF (Male-Female) both ends of the joint are threaded (male tapered thread and female cylindrical thread). This feature makes installation easier and faster.Insulating joints built and tested according to UNI-CIG 10284Mechanical characteristicsForged stub in API-5L steel gr.B or equivalentForged glass in ASTM A 105 steel or equivalentPolycarbonate insulating ringsHytrel 40 D Dupont sealEpoxyphenolic paintThread: ISO7 / EN10226-1
