The SISMA LOCK EVO® seismic detector is particularly suitable for applications in industrial plants considered sensitive or RIR (relevant accident risk) such as: chemical, nuclear, pharmaceutical, storage of toxic and flammable gases or fluids, included in the contexts of SEVESO and SIL regulations 3.

 

The Sisma lock Evo seismic detector is a device capable of measuring telluric vibrations using a double sensor with MEMS technology . The mechanical signal perceived by the device is converted into an electrical signal, analyzed by means of proprietary algorithms, and used to activate safety devices such as solenoid valves for dangerous fluids, evac alarm systems, sirens, etc. The closing action of the solenoid valves can take place either directly, through the internal safety relay, or, alternatively, through a control unit (if the sensor is part of a network). The SismalockEvo uses redundant components for greater safety in detection and allows the sending of data relating to the earthquake by means of a signal with the 420mA standard or a signal on the RS485 bus.
